Privacy Policy

Account Information - Name, email address, and profile data you provide during registration via Clerk (our identity provider).

Transaction Data - Payment metadata processed securely through Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers or CVV data.

Usage Data - Pages visited, features used, quest completions, stamp activity, and interaction patterns used to improve the platform.

Device & Technical Data - IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, and app version for security and analytics purposes.

Location Data - Approximate location (city-level) when you use map or nearby-business features, only with your explicit permission. We do not track precise GPS location in the background.

What Peache is: Peache is an AI voice assistant powered by the Clara Platform (Quik Nation, Inc.). It helps you navigate Atlanta, discover local businesses, and get real-time answers during your 2026 experience.

Microphone activation: When you grant microphone access, Peache may speak first and listen for your reply. This is intentional voice-first design, not a malfunction. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings.

Voice data handling: Live audio is streamed to the Clara Voice Server (hosted on Modal Labs) for speech-to-text transcription and response generation. Raw voice audio is processed in real time and deleted after transcription unless you explicitly opt in to a voice-cloning feature (which requires separate, affirmative consent).

AI processing: Responses may be generated using DeepSeek via AWS Bedrock. Text-to-speech uses open-source engines (Voxtral, XTTS) running on our infrastructure.

Transcript retention: Conversation text transcripts are retained for up to 90 days, then purged automatically unless a longer period is required for legal compliance.

Your controls: Mute Peache at any time (no audio is collected while muted). Decline microphone permission to use text-only mode. Request deletion at privacy@youready.app.

The platform includes an optional camera-based text translation feature. When you use it:

• Camera access is requested only when you actively open the translation tool
• Image frames are sent to our translation service (via API) for optical character recognition (OCR) and translation only
• We do not store captured images. Images are processed in-session and discarded immediately after translation is returned
• Translation text (the recognized and translated string) may be logged for quality improvement purposes for up to 30 days, then deleted
• No biometric data is derived from camera frames

You can revoke camera permission at any time in your device or browser settings. Camera access is never used in the background.

When an AI agent in our service uses the shared Clara brain memory system to retrieve context, we record: the natural-language query (truncated to 768 characters), the agent that made the request, response timing, and result counts.

Retention: Query logs are automatically deleted after 90 days. Retention is enforced by an automated daily cleanup process.

What we do NOT store:

• Any personally identifying content beyond what the query itself may include
• Full vector embeddings (only truncated text and metadata)

Why we log: to improve retrieval quality, detect abuse, and attribute usage accurately. Logs are never sold or shared with third parties.

Access: Request a copy or deletion of query logs tied to your account by contacting privacy@youready.app.

• To send service-related communications (receipts, notifications, security alerts)
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and Terms violations

• To improve AI feature accuracy (voice, translation, recommendations)

We will not use your data for purposes materially different from those listed above without obtaining your consent first.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers - Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Modal Labs (voice processing), AWS (infrastructure and AI inference), Cloudflare (CDN and Workers). Each operates under a data processing agreement.
• Marketplace sellers - Your name and order details are shared with a Seller only when you complete a transaction with them, to the extent necessary for fulfillment.
• Legal requirements - We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of QuikSession LLC, users, or the public.
• Business transfers - In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your data becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, with the following specific retention periods:

• Account data — Retained until you delete your account
• Transaction records — 7 years (legal/tax requirement)
• Voice transcripts — 90 days, then automatically purged
• Camera translation images — Not retained (deleted immediately after use)
• Translation text logs — 30 days, then deleted
• AI query logs — 90 days, then automatically purged
• Usage analytics — Aggregated and anonymized after 12 months

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting privacy@youready.app. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection — Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Restriction — Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances

GDPR (EU/UK users): All of the above rights apply. Our lawful bases for processing are: contract performance (account and transaction data), legitimate interests (platform improvement, fraud prevention), legal obligation, and consent (camera, microphone, marketing).

CCPA (California users): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, disclose, or sell (we do not sell), and to request deletion. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their CCPA rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@youready.app with your request and sufficient information to verify your identity.

We use the following types of storage:

• Essential cookies - Required for authentication sessions (Clerk). Cannot be disabled without breaking login functionality.
• Preference storage— Persisted app preferences such as theme, language, notification prompts, saved items, and voice settings are stored through the app's encrypted authentication and persisted client state layers where available.
• Analytics - Anonymized usage data for platform improvement. No advertising cookies are used.

Marketing UTM parameters may be forwarded when you sign up for connected services (such as Clara AI) to attribute campaigns accurately.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them for their respective data practices.

YouReady is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at privacy@youready.app if you believe a child under 18 has submitted data to us.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@youready.app.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify registered users via email. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
